"I booked a stay at the Garden Street Inn last week, and it was such a lovely experience. I took the Amtrak in and arrived a couple of hours before check-in, but they kindly allowed me to check in early, which was incredibly convenient. The staff was warm, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout my stay. I stayed in the “Ah Louis” room, which was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and featured a large bathtub, which was a great bonus. I've never been to San Luis Obispo...

"It was a nice stay. It is convenient and walkable to downtown. I would have liked the pillows a little softer. The pillows were too hard for us. Otherwise, we have no other complaints. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants downtown. "

"Second time here. On first visit a car was broken into right out front. This time we stayed in room 323 and the AC made a clicking sound all night and hardly got any sleep. The breakfast eggs are gross and the breakfast is very simple. The pool was also being repaired. Just too many things to make me want to come back again. The property is otherwise clean and staff are friendly. In a nice area."

"I did not use the hot tub or swimming pool, the breakfast was good . The room was terrible - last time it redone was probably the early 2000. The heat took forever to come on and the sink was plugged the whole time there. The carpet was terrible . I could not wait to leave and I left a day early . I lost money . "
