"Great little cottage. Comfortable and full of character. Lovely views across the town to the beach and estuary. All the practical stuff was taken care of eg the kitchen was really well supplied with utensils, pots and pans crockery and appliances should you want to self cater for some meals. Plenty of bedding options for any season. And the living room is light and surprisingly spacious - Perfect for family time and relaxing and enjoying the charming surroundings. "The size of the room exceeded my expectations. Really lovely property, nice outlook, covered verandah for socialising, really nice owner. Wish there was a bit more cooking facilities, ie electric hob, but the owners were great about it and offered a microwave and there is a BBQ you can use. Highly recommend!"

"I travelled from Australia to spend a week with family while our Dad has been in Waikato Hospital. Having never been to Hamilton before I was impressed by the location of the property and how close is was to everything we needed. Property itself was perfect and felt like a home away from home where we were all able to be together in a lovely warm and comfortable home. Would reccomend and stay again. Lovely home and hosts. The Silo is such a wonderful place to stay, amenities are excellent and the views are awesome. With great options for indoor or outdoor dining it is such a pleasure to stay here.
