"This is our thrid stay at this property and we are already booked to come back in 2026. It is a perfect place on a perfect & quiet location on Mayo Lake. Corey is an awesome and responsive host. My husband and I look forward to staying at Corey's home every year. We had an entire week of perfect weather which made it even better. "We all had a good week and a good time at the Cottage. Your house is well suited for our stay, and we appreciate all the amenities you provided. The interior was clean, the kitchen well equipped (except we could have used one or two small pots), the bathrooms tidy, the bedding comfortable and the sitting areas relaxing. "This property was just as advertised. Exactly what we were looking for. A quiet place to rest, relax and reset. We really enjoyed coffee on the deck, afternoons laying on the dock and evenings in the hottub. The outdoor shower was great on the cool evenings. This had all the amenities needed and really felt like home. We will be booking again in the future."

"Such a beautifulplace to get away and unplug. My family enjoyed the wonderful Lake view, fishing, enjoying the paddle boat and paddle board, waking up to baby deer in the yard and having s’mores at night in the fire pit. Wonderful stay! We’ll come again."

"Miles was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. House was everything we needed for our stay."

"Very secluded and private. Cabin was very nice, comfortable for 2 people.Walk to dock through woods isnt too bad. Weather was sunny our whole trip so did not have any issues with power, generator did kick in every morning for a little bit. Make sure you bring flaslights or some other outdoor lighting, especially if you have dogs because it is very dark at night with only the light from the porch available. Luckily we were prepared. The wifi wasnt working and didnt find it until the last day but...

"Super clean place, quiet neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. The access to the covered dock was great for our boat. The landscaping on the property is beautiful, the water fountain feature in front of the cabin is a nice place to sit and relax once the sun goes down. Will definitely be back in the future! "

"First time staying in this type of place, normally we aim to stay in stand alone houses. It was actually really great. Location was perfect for the Carrington Pavilion Harvest Jubilee (Cooper Alan & Thomas Mac concer). Plus a fenced in dog park right around the corner. All of the permanent residents we encountered were friendly."

"We all enjoyed the comfortable feel of the Log Cabin. The place met all our basic needs; but we do have a few suggestions that we hope the owner will heed for future guests. We would certainly recommend this home to anyone looking for a home-like atmosphere."

"Very nice and clean space with plenty of room. The location was perfect for our stay. Host responded immediately when we had an issue with the door lock. Definitely recommend this space if you’re visiting Durham."

"My daughter, my grandson and myself stayed for 9 days at this property. The house is beautiful, well kept, and very well stocked. We were in Durham for my grand baby's radiation treatments, we are familiar with the area because of our frequent trips to Duke and the proximity to the hospital was ideal for us. We felt safe here and the neighborhood is quiet. "

"Stayed at this house w/ my family over the Thanksgiving wknd. I liked how there were 5 bedrooms to accommodate 7 adults. The king beds were very comfortable. 1 double bed was very squeaky and a 2nd was very firm. The host was quick to respond to texting."
