"Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Thoroughly recommend."

"The mattress on the bed I slept on needs to be replaced please. It provided me with very little back support. I kept waking up during the night as I was uncomfortable. Also when booking it needs to be made clear when the booked room involves a significant “climb" to get to the floor it is on. "What a dump! In the heart of Double Bay sits an accommodation venue not fit for the homeless. Dirty, water dripping from ceiling in the room, filthy carpet, lumpy mattresses. Worth about $17 a night. Shut it down and build a McDonalds on the site!"
