"I’m OBSESSED with Charleston Sc. We celebrated our son’s birthday here SEVERAL times. We loved it & came to celebrate his 19th birthday. The hotel was clean, spacious, welcoming, very well stocked, and whatever we needed they provided instantly. The beds were comfortable & clear of all bugs (bed bugs) the bathroom was clean too. "Oh my word. Where do I begin? As soon as we walked in, we were greeted. They quickly got my room keys and told us about the freebies. The lobby was beautiful! "We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The mansion is beautiful with so much history and our room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The bath was wonderful especially with a fireplace right there. We ate at the restaurant which was incredible- had the two tasting menus which was so fun and highly recommended. Parking is a breeze. "We booked our room last minute for a one night stopover from wintering in Florida. What a great room which actually was a well fitted 1 bedroom apt. So clean. Such nice amenities. "We loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is “free” offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. "A beautiful spot of quiet right in the midst of everything! The staff were and so very helpful! Our room is everything I hoped for and more!
