"We very much enjoyed our stay. The location can't be beat, right in the middle of everything, and yet with dedicated parking and a nice private outdoor area. We love quirky old townhouses like this, and it was in excellent condition with all the modern amenities, plus the hosts have a very nice sense of style that we appreciated. We wouln't hesitate to stay here again, or recommend it to family and friends."

This house was clean, beds were comfortable and had all of the amenities we needed. Had minor issues with backyard not being fully fenced in or access to a porch light for cleaning up poop. Bath and toiletries are available and well labeled, however brands/scents aren't labeled. I'm allergic to lavender so I couldn't risk using any. "

"We had a wonderful stay. Fantastic views from this cabin -- literally on top of the mountain. Hot tub was great, love the rocking chairs on the front porch, and really appreciate the games and "activites" in the house (like the basetball game in the basement). It was easy to bring our teenage boys and enjoy some down time for spring break. I'm sure the roads would be dicey in the winter but loved it and would definately stay there again."

"The cabin was very outdated. The pictures make the cabin look much nicer than it was. There was dead bugs everywhere inside the cabin. The hot tub was extremely small even though it said it could fit 6 people. The driveway getting up to the cabin is a nightmare. It almost feels like you are on a rollercoaster climbing the first hill. If you don’t have a truck/jeep style vehicle, you will not make it. There’s no tv in the common area which we found bizarre. Out there and quiet for a get away and plenty to do inside for colder weather we loved the bookshelf full of board games and books and the piano to tinker around on! "Cool location in town! We enjoyed visiting nearby antique shops, museum, coffee shop, and diners. I loved the front porch sitting. It was a short drive to historic Harpers Ferry. The kids enjoyed the games and books. The beds were super comfy. The bedding was clean and soft. I slept well, even though you can hear the trains working through the night. That added to the charm. The bathroom was gorgeous with exposed bricks and the shower had a rain shower head! Kim and Todd were excellent hosts. "

"Really cool historic cabin! Close to the Middletown main street. Me and my wife cooked in the cabin just about every night, pots plates and silverware stocked. Gas fireplace was powerful and heated the whole cabin easily on cold nights. Great antiques items scattered around the cabin. Was very quiet and a great place to be. Nearby attractions that were cool to see were the original Washington Monument and Surrybrook gardens - beautiful place to stroll around. Frederick was not far - awesome...
