"We enjoyed our stay at this cute little house. Very clean!"

"I enjoyed everything about this quaint little cabin. It was the perfect way to peacefully enjoy the outdoors, watching the river flow, while sitting on the deck, by the fire. "

"The property had more than enough space for my family of 6 adults. It was peaceful, minus the occasional train, with plenty to do. My adult kids loved the game room while my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. It is just a short drive to town, but we did everything from grilling on the deck to playing a rowdy card game around the large table with friends. Beds were comfortable and Kara’s home was clean. We hope to stay with her again in the fall. "

"Stayed a couple nights to attend a family reunion and it worked out great. Pleasantly surprised at amenities; retro video games, projected TV screen, and well-stocked kitchen. Only drawback was a single restroom that was upstairs. Worked out ok for us but would be hard for someone with limited mobility. Was also quite warm until we discovered heat was on. There were ceiling fans and a couple portable fans as well."

"The house was exactly as advertised. It is an older home. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Pete was very easy to communicate with. We had an issue with one of the toilets. He replied literally minutes within my request to have it looked at and had it fixed the next day. Very pleasant stay."

"We had a lovely visit for the Frazer-Johnson wedding at the barn. The kitchen was well appointed for making breakfast. The porch swing with a river view was a serene spot for morning coffee. This historic home was charming and the hostess communicated quickly when we had a question.We highly recommend."

"We had a meaningful and relaxing stay at this quiet cabin tucked away in New Windsor, IL. The best part was definitely the scenery—absolutely beautiful views and plenty of privacy. It was the perfect place to unplug and reconnect with nature. The fishing was top-notch, and we loved that we could bring our dog along, which made the trip even better.That said, there were a few things that could use some attention. "House was very clean, owner was very accommodating, beautiful river views! Recommend 10/10!"

"We couldnt have asked for anything more. This place was perfect for a guys fishing trip on the Mississippi River. Fighting and mostly landing huge channel and flat head catfish, carp, drum and bass the entire weekend.Even when packing up to leave I had my pole nearly snatched out of the pole holder but it got away. We will definitely book again next year!"
