"Stayed a couple nights to attend a family reunion and it worked out great. Pleasantly surprised at amenities; retro video games, projected TV screen, and well-stocked kitchen. Only drawback was a single restroom that was upstairs. Worked out ok for us but would be hard for someone with limited mobility. Was also quite warm until we discovered heat was on. There were ceiling fans and a couple portable fans as well."

"The house was exactly as advertised. It is an older home. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Pete was very easy to communicate with. We had an issue with one of the toilets. He replied literally minutes within my request to have it looked at and had it fixed the next day. Very pleasant stay."

"We had a lovely visit for the Frazer-Johnson wedding at the barn. The kitchen was well appointed for making breakfast. The porch swing with a river view was a serene spot for morning coffee. This historic home was charming and the hostess communicated quickly when we had a question.We highly recommend."

"We couldnt have asked for anything more. This place was perfect for a guys fishing trip on the Mississippi River. Fighting and mostly landing huge channel and flat head catfish, carp, drum and bass the entire weekend.Even when packing up to leave I had my pole nearly snatched out of the pole holder but it got away. We will definitely book again next year!"

"We checked in at the appointed time, just after 4, and found dirty dishes in the sink, dirty floors, dirty clothes in the washer, beds unmade, dead bugs. The only good thing I can say about it is that the bugs were dead. This place was totally a mess. We found lodging at a nearby hotel and are still working to settle for a full refund! I would NOT recommend this property, or the manager in charge of it to anyone! Much too slow to make good on the promised full refund."

"Overall, exactly as imaged. No issues with the property and plenty of appliances / everyday items so not many purchases needed at the store. Close to plenty of good restaurants and brewery's. Also not a bad drive for nature spots. Will be coming back down the road!"
