"This property is misleading. There isn’t a beach area to swim in, play at or dock your boat. The large hill and lack of accessible boat dock restricted the older men in our party from getting in the boat so they watched from the patio. The room with bunk beds had ants, not great for the kids. The bathroom toilet had a leak, which lead to a perpetual wet rug. We made the best of our stay and time spent with family but this little cabin needs some TLC and an updated description. "

"We were very impressed with Jack Pines Resort! We reserved a small cabin for a few days and did not realize all that this property had to offer! We didn't have a chance to rent an ATV but did enjoy walking some of their beautiful trails. The cabin was clean and comfortable. All of the staff we met were friendly and eager to help. Next time we visit, we will be more prepared to enjoy all of their amenities! This was a great place for us and our dog to get away and I would certainly recommend...

"We had a great time. Everything you would expect from a Minnesota Cabin. The lake was nice and caught several nice fish...we put them back so they're still in there. Dog loved it. Too hot for the hot tub but looked well kept and perfect for cooler weather. We'd go back again. Friendly neighbors/people passing by on the lake. There was one restaurant about 15 minutes away. Brought a George Foreman and that worked out nice for cooking. There was a grill but never used it/looked at it....

"We all loved our stay at the sunset beach cabin. We had plenty of room inside and outside. The owners were wonderful and answered all of our questions. We hope to stay longer next time we head up north!"

"The place was serene and quiet with plenty of room for three women to spread out and relax. Location was perfect and the neighborhood was quiet. The steps to the water are a little steep and the water was a little too weedy for swimming but the view was fantastic. The communication with the host was top notch!!"

This spacious retreat proved to be perfect for all ages, including our dogs, who had a fantastic time exploring the wooded area and playing freely. The cabin's accommodating nature made our stay comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. "Check-in was very easy. Host was quick with responding, and friendly. Kitchen was great! Everything you could need fully stocked, very nice grill and stove. Microwave, coffee maker and full fridge and freezer. We didn’t eat out at all because of how great the kitchen was. We had the best time here and would definitely come back!"

"There were 6 of us to celebrate my daughter getting her Bachelors of Science in Aeronautics from UND! The weather was rainy and cold during our stay. The lake ice bath was perfect and the hot tub and indoor facilities were Awesome!! Just what we needed to rest and revive after the Grad Ceremonies! Love the open space and it felt like home to us. Even the 1yr old grandkid did well! Any communication we needed with the host received a prompt replied to and the one issue was immediately remedied.Definitely plan to come back for another family get together in the future!"
