"There was a woman that was yelling all night. She woke me up 4 times during the night. Someone was smoking in the elevator. The city of Vicksburg was very run down. There was the smell of smoke and weed throughout the city."

"Front desk lady was very nice both times we stayed. Remembered me from the first time we came. Helped when I needed something for room very fast and nicely. Room was comfy and had a good view of the Mississippi. "

"We did not stay after we saw a handwritten sign "Rooms Hourly Rates" in the lobby window. Expedia vouched for them!!! & won't get our money back.... terrible experience!"

"A beautiful historic home. Being able to tour it was fun. Our room was above the dining area so it was a little noisy. Our only complaint was the early dinner reservation. We had hoped to dine later but there were no time slots available. Yet, the dining room was only half filled at the later time when we left. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay. "

"We stayed in the pool cabana and it was lovely, private and classy. Can’t wait to come back. The pool was clean, the food was fantastic, the mixed drinks were excellent. The owner Kendra was a sweetheart and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for our stay :) "

"Beautiful and impressive mansion like staying inside a castle. I was impressed with all the antique furnitures. That was a treat for me. I was grateful for the talk after breakfast about the history of the place. Downside was that some staff services and the logistics could have been better. The hair conditioner bottle was indeed shampoo. My dietary preference at breakfast didn’t make it to the kitchen staff (or it was ignored/ forgotten). Staff Couldn’t find the key to my room upon check in. "

"Hotel was clean and the staff very professional and friendly. Was very disappointed in the breakfast options on 2 of the 4 mornings. We as well as about 15 other guests had to wait 5 - 7 minutes for food to be put out on one morning. The other morning, we only had the option of making waffles. No food was brought out for the last 40 minutes of the breakfast serving hours."

"Right off of I-20. Although they are renovating, don’t let that and or your judgment. We stayed on the fourth floor. Very clean every staff member we came in contact with was very courteous and helpful. Across the street from National Vicksburg Military Park. Definitely set time aside to visit, it is a must do while you’re there! "
