"The house was a perfect size for the 3 of us. My grandson enjoyed crabbing and fishing off the dock. We rented bikes nearby and went for a nice bike ride around Blackwater Refuge. Loved the sunrises and sunsets and the extremely peaceful location. We even had a little visitor. My grandson named the little kitty Hooper. "

"The house was exactly how the pictures showed !Cute and cozy ,and clean ! Im a country girl and felt at home sitting on the porch,enjoying the breeze. The sound of the ocean was a bonus!! "Check in and check out were easy. They had a new grill to use, lots of outside equipment like bikes and kayaks to use, plenty of room inside to hang out with family, large yard was great for our dogs and the area is so quiet- we only saw a few people the whole time which was nice. "We had a fantastic stay at the Hideaway in Hays Beach. We were coming up to see our 93yr old Grandmother who lives about 45 minutes away. Our families rented two homes in the area and were able to enjoy our time with three generations that aren’t able to see each other often. The home was exactly as shown, perfectly decorated and incredibly well stocked! We’d absolutely come back!"

"Rob and Clarissa's property is in the perfect location on Brooks Creek. The views are spectacular! We enjoyed listening to the birds or watching the activity on the water while we sipped our morning coffee. The three bedrooms and loft space provided more than enough room for 4 adults and two 17 year old boys. Rob is very responsive to any needs his guests may have. "We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property and really couldn’t ask for much more. It was clean and spacious, with all of the amenities you could need for a retreat on the bay. Easy beach access for fossil hunting. The clothes washer and dryer were on the first floor for easy access (not in a damp basement!). We would definitely stay again. Wish we could have stayed for longer this time."

"We had wonderful time at the house. Location was perfect and the pool was great hit with everyone. We rented a speedboat for 2 days which was delivered at the dock.There was plenty of space for 20 people. Plan on renting this home again. "
