"What a lovely night away. Mark and Karen were brilliant hosts. Clean rooms with all the amenities you need. Great array of drinks and snacks available. Soft towels and comfy beds. Delicious breakfast cooked by Karen. All the ingredients were excellent quality and cooked excellently. A perfect little base for a weekend in Wales. We enjoyed walking Pen Y fan. "Lovely cosy two room b&b with very welcoming and friendly hosts. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need for your stay whether it be short or long. The breakfasts are exceptional, a full English or amazing home made fluffy pancakes just two of the choices. "Had a lovely time staying here. Different from staying in a hotel. Hot drinks offered to us every time we came in. Beautiful big bedroom with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Clean, tidy, really comfortable bed. Had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had for ages. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the proprietors are lovely, warm, friendly people. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in the area. Thank you both x"

"Absolutely loved my stay at The Black Lion Royal Hotel. The room and bathroom were spotless and clearly very well looked after. The people at the reception are incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The English breakfast was delicious and freshly made each morning. Plus, the hotel’s pub has such a cute, cozy vibe, perfect for a relaxing evening. Highly recommend!"
