"What makes this B+B stand out is the attention to detail in making guests comfortable. Little things like providing body lotion, plenty of cups/mugs so you don't have to try to wash up, fresh milk, plenty of sockets for your phone etc and much more. On top of this the surrounding countryside is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice, and the hosts provide a warm welcome."
"The staff were so helpful, couldn't do enough for us. The food was out of this world, so tasty and beautifully presented.
The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean with a huge walk in shower. There was a kettle and a wide variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits too.
We both slept well. The curtains were blackout so weren't disturbed by the light either."
"Very spacious, clean room and bathroom with a comfortable bed. This was a great space to sleep before setting out each day to explore the area. Amazing view from the room. The breakfast was lovely. The owners, Bob and Olha were extremely kind and friendly. The property has a beautiful garden and one afternoon when we decided to explore it, we caught Bob and Olha working on their new pool project. Beautiful big bedroom with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower.
Clean, tidy, really comfortable bed.
Had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had for ages.
The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the proprietors are lovely, warm, friendly people.
Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in the area.

"Wasnt clear how to check in, but rung in the morning and was advised to call to pub for room card.
The room was very clean, and well presented. Can see they are looked after. Nice walk in shower with 2 separate heads.
Plenty of storage for clothes etc.
Bed was very comfortable and made for a great night sleep.
The food served at the Pen Y Cae was amazing and all the staff we encountered throughout our stay were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. "
