"Locally owned and ran by a friendly couple. The room was clean. It was a bit cold when I first got in but turning up the baseboard heaters helped that. The floor was a bit chilly to walk on. One of the chairs upholstery was dirty. All bedding and linens were clean and cozy. The bathroom was small but clean. Not appropriate if you need a handicap bathroom but worked well for this single traveller. Also had a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, a table and 2 chairs, and a little kitchenette...

Cons: Requested room cleaning be between nights that didn’t happen. $35 a day for parking was a surprise. One elevator not functioning the entire stay creating long waits for the elevator. And being charged $7 for a bottle of water that was never consumed in the room. That charge was noticed two days after checkout on visa...

"A decent place to stay when exploring the Ballard area. Walking distance to everything. Room was small and well-equipped. Walls are very thin, so having earplugs provided was much appreciated. Seems strange to offer a coffee machine in the room without mugs, but we walked downstairs to the kitchen to grab one. Walls need a good clean, but everything else was pretty good."

"Great staff, clean rooms, common areas, dining and parking garage. The hot tub and pool were fun for the kids and the breakfast was exceptionally nice! At the recommendation of the front desk, we went up to the 4th floor balcony and were stunned with the beautiful views of Mt Rainer and the Seattle skyline. I will recommend this hotel to others. "
