"We really enjoyed this place. From the moment you enter this house you can tell that it is well loved. It is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed, and more. We spent time on the porch, paddling kayaks, watching the herons. "

The cleanliness, the arrangements inside the home, the view, the varied wildlife we saw, the local trips we took, the day cruise to Tangier Island, and most importantly, the personal care that the host took to welcome us to celebrate my 80th birthday. I love taking photos and this is an amazing location for that. The Herons, Bluebirds, Eagles, and even a hummingbird seemed to be posing for a photo. And the stars at night over the Chesapeake...

"Beyond being a lovely house, we were impressed by how much space we had available. We had four adults, each of whom had their own room and their own bed—usually oversized—with several beds to spare and more comfy common areas than we could fully take advantage of. "We had a great 2 night stay this past month. The house was immaculate and well- equipped in all ways- comfortable beds, plenty of nice quality towels, kitchen utensils, pots etc . "Key Cottage was charming and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were standout fabulous - modern, great water pressure, and spacious. The house is well stocked with just about anything you can imagine needing. We loved the location, on a quiet corner in the cute village of Irvington with so much to walk to and do. The only problem we had was getting into the lockbox when we arrived, but they arranged for someone to run down and help us out. "

Where you can see the sun rise, watch the white tail rabbit that visits, hear the water and sleep in a secured environment. This is the place.My sister and I celebrated my birthday there.
