"The hotel is new, clean, funky, and right across the street from UT. The staff were great too. Only downsides are that the rooms are small and the only parking option is valet, which is expensive. Hotels should provide free parking to their paying guests, not charge them an exrtra $50 on top of the room rate. Not cool."

"Great little hotel, almost ruined by the elevator banging night and day, echoing in my room. The nearby club noise didn't bother us at all. It was the clanging elevator."

"The room was amazing, very clean, the pillows were PILLOWING! Too often hotels give you crappy pillows and that just irks my taters, but not the Hyatt House! Shiv at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious and honestly quite elevated from your usual hotel buffet - thanks for the great stay! The location is really central to downtown Austin"

"Housekeeping continues to be an issue. I stayed ten days and dust was visible. Trash wasn’t picked up completely, water wasn’t replenished, and sheets weren’t changed. Staff even left their working materials on the bathroom. Lighting is really bad. Shampoo dispenser didn’t work and wasn’t changed or repaired. Valet staff didn’t leave car outside when leaving early even when requested."

"I didn’t like the room because it felt outdated and poorly maintained. The front desk clerk was not hospitable at all and actually came across as rude, which made the experience even worse. Overall, I was not impressed with this property and would not stay here again. Marriott really lowered their standards with this hotel. I would not recommend it."

"The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff are the friendliest people in a hotel I’ve experienced. The rooms are nice. I’d definitely come here again. One thing I’d say is bring long charging cords because outlets are scarce, 10 foot cords worked well for me. The room furniture is bulky and takes up a lot of space."

"Courteous staff, easy check-in, and clean room. The room was perfect! Will stay again. Close proximity to downtown restaurants and 6th street. Only issue was the parking. No spaces available so we had to utilize paid parking across the street. Otherwise great place to stay"
