"Hotel hits all the 5 star spots apart from 2 points. 1 - the rooms are not soundproof at all, and being able to hear the conversations in the room next door so clear that i could repeat what they were saying is not what i would expect. Second - the front desk staff are not as polished and committed to the level of service i would expect from a top end 5 star hotel. Doormen were top class. All in all it's a good hotel, but with so much choice in NY, i have stayed in better."

"It was a rainy weekend so having a coffee place, restaurant, bar and a gym all in one hotel was great! The sushi bar restaurant is expensive but amazing! And the gym was well appointed. I also thought the lobby area was relaxing for my morning coffee with plenty of space. I did not make it up to the rooftop bar but hope to on my next trip. My only complaint is their check in.
