"Lovely room but sadly no hot water in the morning to have showers. Staff apologised but didn’t seem to take onboard that our stay was spoiled.Food at lunchtime was delicious but breakfast wasn’t the same standard. "

"Lovely, spacious and clean room and easy to park at hotel. Staff were friendly and hardworking! We ate in the bar and would recommend it - in particular the steak pie was execellent. Great breakfast too - and a good choice! Look forward to staying next time we're in Aberdeen. "

"Hotel is situated in a historic neighborhood; interesting place to walk around. Room was lovely and provided everything we needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent bar and restaurant offerings. Bedding and linens were high quality. However, the mattress was hard and irregular, very uncomfortable. Breakfast was relaxing and check out was easy. Would visit again. "

"Lovely staff, very friendly. Room was far too hot and air con only blew out hot hair despite being on the cold setting. We were on the lower ground floor so we couldn’t open our windows properly without having the curtains open which meant people walking down the side street could see directly in to our room. One of the windows was locked too. Bar closed early and would only serve bottled wine or beer. "

"The check in process took us 3 hours in total. We were not sent the check in instructions and when we tried to call the number listed there was no one connected. After waiting 2.5 hours someone connected and when we managed to talk to her she then couldn’t get the lockbox code which took another 30 minutes "

"The receptionist was far from welcoming - very matter of fact. I enquired to see if there was any cancellation with a dog friendly room - shrugged her shoulders and that was a no - not even I am sorry. Bar staff where we could take a dog was over the top - as we walked in announced to whole bar we were walking in - there was a very loud child approx 9 yrs old who he was encouraging to be even louder - we moved table. We have stayed here a few times but will not be back."

"The location is convenient, staff are super friendly and food in the restaurant is very good. But the problem is that the rooms are not at all noise proof and the temperature controls are useless. I had a sleepless night in a cold and noisy room."

"When you flush the toilet in bathroom it makes a horrible loud noise. Info on apartment states it has washer and dryer - it does not. It has a washer and a hanging rack. There was still food in fridge and cabinets, was only given 2 towels for 4 people. Beds are close to floor and are horrible. No roller paper in one of the bathrooms. I truly wanted to walk out. "
