The Le Cartier apartment is on the 2nd floor of the Royal Dalhousie building. This spacious corner unit offers numerous windows with exceptional east-west views of the St. Lawrence River.

The beautiful hardwood floors, wooden beams, high ceilings, and red brick wall add to the ambiance. This spacious unit is comfortable for families. You'll feel right at home!

From April to November, enjoy the magnificent cruise ships that call at the Port of Québec.

The spacious and oversized apartments at the Royal Dalhousie have generous windows offering a breathtaking view of the St. Lawrence River and Place des Canotiers. You will also have access to our rooftop terrace to enjoy a 360 view from Ile d'Orléans to Château Frontenac. An ideal place to have your coffee, get together for a happy hour or admire the fireworks on festive evenings. The Royal Dalhousie apartments with free WI-FI connection have huge common areas such as a living room with HD smart TV and HD receiver. A large dining room to enjoy your meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen with appliances (fridge, stove and 30-inch dishwasher), small electrical appliances (double coffee maker, toaster, food processor and slow cooker), cookware and cooking utensils. kitchenware, cutlery and glasses. Sumptuous individual and comfortable bedrooms with, for the most part, a complete adjoining bathroom with shower and bath. Towels, hair dryer, personal hygiene products, ironing board and iron, washer and dryer, everything is there! A park, a high chair and a folding bed are available on request.

This is a gorgeous unit with a wonderful view of the river. It’s relaxing and close to everything in old Quebec. The building owner was friendly and engaging. I kept meaning to tell them the kitchen was missing a spatula but other than that was fully equipped. The parking lot is small and quite tight. My boyfriend did an amazing job of maneuvering our mini-van in and out but I’m not sure I could have done it myself.I would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope I can return!

Le Cartier was even larger in person. Our family had more than enough room and the view of the river was fantastic. Our kids really enjoyed watching the ships go by. The elevator and on-site parking was extremely convenient. We would stay here again.

We had a WONDERFUL stay in this terrific apartment. We were four sisters and the space was perfect for us. The owners were very responsive to my many questions and the apartment was very clean and spacious, very much as advertised. Our only complaint was that there was no door between the master bedroom and its bathroom - so no privacy from your partner while you're going to the bathroom and the partner is in the bedroom. There was a lot of "I'm going to the bathroom now, stay where you are" which is ridiculous. We managed and overall the place was great, but there should be a door between the bathroom and the master bedroom!

Spacious old world charm

My husband and I very much enjoyed this warm spacious flat with our son, daughter in law, and infant grandchild. It was a perfectly clean and safe space for the baby to crawl around. The expansive view, exactly as shown in photos, and comfortable bedrooms left nothing to be desired. The location offered us a vigorous uphill climb to get to the main attractions but there is also a funicular, a free parking lot, and other means to get where you want to go.

Perfection

It was my husband and I, our 2 adult children and their SO's. Views of the St. Lawrence river were stunning, and the place was situated as a convenient walk to all Quebec city had to offer, including the funicular for anyone not wanting to deal with the steep incline out of Petit Champlain. We have zero suggestions for improvement. The apartment is huge and totally comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, large dining room table to gather, comfortable beds, 2 large bathrooms, and convenient washer and dryer. We loved our stay here and highly recommend.

Perfect spot for a stay in Quebec City

This place was great! Even nicer than the pictures. Plenty of space for my husband and I and our two teen daughters. We used the rooftop seating often - it was a nice perk. It was a great spot to walk to all of the nearby attractions. Enough coffee for a day or two was provided, which was nice since we arrived late. The towels and bedding were nice. Overall, great spot and would recommend to anyone.

This property unit has a huge living space and thoughtful amenities…with a great location direct access to boat tours and all of “lower” Quebec City. We just love this part of the world with beautiful scenery & history.

Girl's weekend/ Winter Carnaval

This property was absolutely perfect for our girl's weekend. We were 5 adults and the accommodations were excellent. We were greeted by one of our hosts Pierre who took the time to show us the Cartier suite. The view of the river was such a lovely way wake up and to relax to at night. The property is in walking distance to all that Quebec has to offer! We can't wait to come back!

The Dalhousie Cartier stay was great, verything was as promised!

Wonderful stay, everything was as listed, great views, location, very secure. My only complaint, were the pillows. need to upgrade them. But a truly wonderful place.

Cannot imagine a better stay in old Quebec City

Two couples stayed 4 nights at this fantastic flat. The location is amazing and having onsite parking is such a bonus. We were greeted on time, with a warm welcome and a thorough tour of the property. The welcome book was simple and informative. The unit is exactly as pictured. It was fantastic to hang in the large living room with very comfortable furniture when we weren't out and about. We actually loved having the cruise ships directly across the street - and still had plenty of water view off to the right. It was so interesting to watch. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well appointed. We used the washing machine once and all was good. We highly recommend a stay here!

Perfect location. Easy access to all of old town. Feels like your own home. All our friends that we travel with agree that it’s the best place we’ve ever stayed. We’re talking about trying to book it for a month next time.
