"Great house! We especially enjoyed the large screened in porch with beautiful sunrises. Home was equipped with so many kids things that was so helpful! I.e high chairs, pack and play, lots of toys, (our 2 yr old grandson Loved the chicken! He cried because it couldn’t come back with us! lol), and many kids dinnerware, cups, etc! The owners were very helpful in getting us anything we needed, and made great recommendations on eateries and things to do in area! Highly recommend!"

"In complete candor, I was a little disappointed in the beach. The water was fairly brown- clean, but brown. This is just a result of silt from the river. The beach was SUPER clean and quite natural, but there were a ton of super sharp rocks about 12 feet into the water. Those are literally the only negatives I have about the trip and honestly, small potatoes. Everything else was PERFECT Pictures are from the lowest tide we saw. "

"House is very accommodating for a large group. The commercial appliances are extremely helpful in holding all the food. We also enjoyed the commercial stove and the ice maker. The design of the house gives everyone some privacy. "

"It was a quiet and relaxing stay. Everyone really enjoyed the week. The first evening we were there we were able to watch a dolphin swim close to the shore. Even charging the shore at times to push the fish that way. It was really neat to watch. The sunrises and moonrises were also great. We didn't see more than a few people on the beach. The last day we were there it looked like some other families arrived in the houses nearby, but I imagine it would still be pretty quiet even with them there....

"We were looking for a trip to fully unplug & relax and we found it! The hosts were very welcoming and genuinely want their guests to have a great time. The kitchen has everything you might need and then some. We would definitely consider staying again. "

The owners are very responsive and provided lots of extra information on Alligator Point to make our stay the best possible. "Fabulous Host! Beautiful, clean beach house with a well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with two sinks and plenty towels. Everything is neat, well organized and clean. Gorgeous view of the beach during the day and stars by night. Several decks with nice outdoor furniture. Easy beach access. We love the outdoor shower. Quiet, serene and peaceful uncrowded beach paradise. Shady parking area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"We absolutely loved the Happy Shack. We wanted a family trip for rest and relaxation, and togetherness.. that is exactly what we got. Private beach days, home cooked meals and all the card and board games we wanted. The owners were easy to communicate with, and the house had almost everything you would need. "

"View is great. Seen dolphins most days. Seen large fish jump completely out of the water two different times. Mister bird went down for a fish and then a shark grab the bird. First I seen that not watching shark week. Lol. House has lots of little extras that are useful. Owners were easy to contact. People in the neighborhood are extra friendly. "
