Unique and very special! This rustic home was a truly one-of-a-kind property and provided a great experience for our family. The location is private and secluded, yet not far off the highway. It truly feels like a jungle camp--the monkeys, tropical birds, lizards, and frogs in the surrounding forest gave it such a wild feel! The pool is large, clean, and shaded and was an added bonus.Do be aware, however, that this is mostly NOT an air conditioned property. The master bedroom (upstairs) is the only space that has air conditioning. The downstairs common area and kitchen, as well as the upstairs sleeping loft, are only cooled with fans and windows, so if heat is a concern for you, you might need to plan accordingly.That said, it was the perfect place for our family to stay while on the Osa Peninsula! It is very clean and our hosts, Gerardo and Beatriz, were accommodating and wonderful.
