Our stay was flawless. The location was a perfect distance from all things in all places we wanted to be. It was quiet. The only sound we heard were the lapping of the Waves as they were coming in off the lake. Our hosts were incredible. Very communicative and even when I messed up our checkout dates they were very accommodating with letting us get out at a later checkout time when they didn't have to. I would absolutely stay here again and I would always recommend others to stay here. It is very unique. Lots of character and very well taken care of.

Wonderful place to stay! Brought our two kids 11 and 14 and our puppy. Close proximity to everything you need in Kelowna. Great walking paths directly out your front door.Beautiful views from the property. Very quiet and safe. This place has everything you need and more!
Hosts even provide comfy dog beds!

We had a wonderful stay at the boathouse. The location was exceptional providing us the opportunity for some beautiful views, great walks right outside our door, immediate access to the lake, and a quick walk (15 - 20 mins) to downtown. Communication with our host was excellent. The property was immaculate and very well appointed. We really appreciated the dog friendly space and extra attention given to our four legged family member, including a comprehensive list of pet friendly breweries which we certainly availed ourselves. The access to paddle boards, kayaks and bikes was very much appreciated. As the fall weather in Kelowna was beautiful, we spent much of our time on the rooftop patio enjoying the fire table well into the evening. If you are fortunate enough to find availability at the boathouse, do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed.

A slice of paradise

This is definitely one of my favourite places I’ve stayed in the Okanagan. Literally such a gem, this place has everything you could possibly want/need. The lake is right outside the front door and there are plenty of watercraft to borrow to enjoy the lake. The space is super comfortable and stylishly decorated. Perhaps the best part is the deck right off the bedroom where you can take in the incredible view and get cozy by the fire table. 10/10 stay, truly a privilege to stay at the boat house!

Very nice home right across from the water. Everything was wonderful. The only thing to mention is that the little sleeping front room on the front door level - gets very hot when it’s in the 30s. They need an AC unit of some kind, maybe even a window AC unit.

This might be the most perfect place I have stayed in a very long time! Perfectly located, beautifully decorated, super close to downtown Kelowna, but the views of the lake directly across and the gorgeous mountain park behind make this a spot I can’t wait to return to!!

Lakeside Retreat

Nestled at the base of Knox Mountain and on a lakeshore drive is The Boat House. It is abundantly evident that Vivien and Paul have put a lot of time, care and effort into providing a relaxing retreat. The home is located so that guests can enjoy the natural landscape with the park and tennis courts close by, while also being within walking and driving distance of urban amenities. There was a kayak, canoe, bikes, two separate decks and little extras in the unit to ensure that our pup’s stay was also comfortable. Having a king bed and a bathroom with a large shower and soaker tub was a bonus. The hosts were attentive and checked in, but were not intrusive. The needs of their guests are important to them and we’re happy to recommend The Boat House to those travelling to Kelowna to absorb some quality time in the Okanagan.

Long Weekend soccer tournament

Beautiful views, and great home away from home! Quick car ride into downtown, and great access to Knox Mountain. Hosts were very responsive and hospitable.
