"Everyone so upbeat and cheerful. Great place "

"As advertised, except for the "walking distance to downtown." It's over a mile, no sidewalks, very hilly bendy road, difficult for cars and the plethora of work trucks to see you. We had some elderly folks planning to stroll into town, but that was a hard no. Maybe ok if you're young and active, but certainly don't plan on safely walking home at night. Otherwise, a pleasant old place. "

"This is our second stay at Wendy and Jim’s place. Once again it didn’t disappoint. The place is beautiful, quiet, and has everything you need. We enjoyed as much time by the water as we could taking in the Eagles, loons and the occasional seagull communal bath!! "Staying at the Carousel Marina is like no other VASCA experience for vacation. "We had fabulous 4 days in Boothbay , visiting beautiful Penaquid , Southport Island, boat cruise, morning coffee near the water, and delicious food at Waves. Fun to look in different shops too. Bed was comfortable, nice readinbathroom was clean but right in bedroom with curtain but no door. That was a negative. Driveway was very steep for climbing and awkward parking space for unloading which was a challenge for 70 yr olds. Good kitchen area and sunny living room. Rivate and semi detached. "

"We enjoyed the view from this home and the location very much. Easy walkability to town and having Dunston’s right down the street was a fun perk. The communal spaces are small but cozy. The weather was rainy while we were there so we spent a lot of time nestled up reading and enjoying the view. My only complaint was there was no coffee provided—pretty small gripe and easily remedied!"
