"Just returned from a week stay. We had a lovely, freshly remodeled room facing the Acropolis. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Cleaned daily and promptly. We enjoyed getting up for breakfast daily. We enjoyed the variety of fresh food daily. Coffee made to order, a favorite of ours. "

"I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel which is reasonably priced and located on Syygrou Avenue - a very busy highway in central Athens. We were given a room (706) which was quiet and although the room was quite basic it was very clean, has a great shower and the breakfast included in the price was really excellent. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would go back."

"We arrived before check-in but had been traveling for about 20hrs and we're exhausted. I had requested an early check-in and was hoping it would work out. We were met in arrival by very nice staff who encouraged us to wait in the roof top bar for about 20 minutes while awaiting our room. The woman in the rooftop bar immediately served us water juice and some snacks all gratis. The rooftop bar had a beautiful view and yet we were sitting in an air conditioned space. It was lovely. "Lovely stay in this apart-hotel. Clean well equipped rooms with great access to the tram network, giving access to Athens & Piraeus in about 40 minutes. Nearby supermarket and taverna gave easy eating options. Will definitely use again."

"The front desk team was able to help me out with my room check-in request. Big and clean room. The location is in central area and are just a few minutes drive away to the Museums. Great breakfast variety as well, which includes bacon, which is a very plus point to me."

"Hotel Ilissos was one of the most welcoming places in downtown Athens!!! They cared for me like family. The breakfast buffet was beautiful with many options, fresh international cuisine, clean facilities and rooms with incredible views of the acropolis! They helped me find my way with walking, directions the bus and Subway and how to live like a local, even though I was a tourist. I’ll definitely be back!"

"it’s a lovely hotel it’s very efficient and clean and pretty much up to date , the breakfast is amazing for the small cost . The staff are very friendly and speak good English and are always helpful . i stayed here as i had flown over to see a band Pulp play at the water from just 1.6 km away so it was nice and close .
