"This is my go to place when coming to the New Bern area. It's always an amazing stay. It's a great property that offers a lot."

"It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. "

"We had the best stay! Clean and plenty of room for 2-4 people. The beds downstairs were so comfortable (we didn’t use the loft). It had everything we needed; towels, bedsheets, toilet paper, etc. which made our travels easy. It is conveniently located to Havelock, Morehead City, and Newport. "

"This was an amazing VRBO! All the amenities of home in a luxurious setting! Owners were amazing and very friendly! Beautiful location being right on the water. Minutes from great restaurants and groceries. Will definitely stay again! Oh, can't forget the loveable dogs they have! They acted like they had known us forever! It definitely added to a wonderful stay! "

"Nice little get away with lots to do!"

"Property was amazing!! Very convenient for our daughter who is in the Marine Corps to meet us for a short visit. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and clean. We so enjoyed having the canoe access as well as the fire pit. I cannot say enough good things about this little piece of heaven back in the woods! The history was a plus too, Jim was kind enough to tell us all about it!! We will definitely be back!!!! "

"You cannot beat the location of this property, right in the middle of town and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, and the waterfront! David makes the check-in and check-out process very easy. We will be back!"

"The house is lovely. Exactly as shown with plenty of room for our family of five, spanning four generations. Everyone had their own room, and if they wanted to sit and use their iPad or read a book and a quiet area, there were plenty of those as well. We appreciated the TV in the front living room, as we were able to watch movies together, although the kids preferred to go upstairs to the game room."
