The main issue was that responsibility for the management of this booking was switched from Stayz to Weekenda a couple of months ahead of the booking date. I had no warning of this whatsoever and found Weekenda to be very unsatisfactory with regard to their management of the process. It is clearly all run off shore and there was no consistency between email communication and the messaging I received from the call centre on the occasions that I had to chase things up. The property that I originally booked was suddenly made unavaliable without adequate explanation and the re booking process was clumsy and protracted. In the end we were offered a comparable property and the booking went ahead as planned. However I would never knowingly use Weekenda again (they have a very poor google review rating so I am not alone in my experience). I would expect Stayz to be more upfront about their usage of third party providers and if you are not aware of Weekenda's poor reputation you owe it to your customers to take a closer look.
