The only thing we had issues with was the TV didn’t work when we arrived back to our room in the evening after 11pm. But it did work earlier in the day and the next morning. "

"Great location convenient to Hollywood Blvd. Check in was easy, staff were friendly and the room (while not the absolute cleanest) was spacious and had a microwave, fridge and in-room coffee which is rare for this level hotel. Just a couple blocks walk to Target, Ralph's, Walgreens/CVS and tons of food options including a late night taco truck and lots of Thai Town restaurants. Parking was good, although rather than driving I took the buses on Sunset and Hollywood to Silverlake and WeHo which...

"Great location but in a residential area so you will get dogs barking, odd party, car horns, does get quiet around 10 though. We had large sitting room/kitchen, tv should be larger for such a large room. Basic but functional furniture and beds. Shower had poor pressure but ok. Air con control looks like digital clock on the wall, front door is electronic, you need to touch the Yale symbol for the numbers to appear, lock the same way, some doors had instructions, some did not. Parking garages...

"Never stayed at a hostel before. The Normandie hostel is new, clean and the beds are great with so much privacy. Plus they’re virtual check in is a breeze with fast responses."

"$12 hour parking fee which is good because the area was a bit sketchy but the rooms were nice I went with my son and husband and had a great time, the food was actually very decent and had a good variety."

"My daughter and I stayed here for a mother daughter weekend trip to see Erykah Badu. We both loved the staff and hotel. I absolutely love the story behind the hotel in memory of their sister. The doors are beautiful and I’m assuming some of their late sister’s favorite things. We stayed in the Super Mario room. A nice surprise as my husband’s name is Mario. We will definitely be back to stay in the Hello Kitty Room. Thank you for a memorable weekend. "
