"We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer. The house is beautifully laid out with the living areas upstairs (beautiful views!) and the sleeping downstairs. The kitchen is quite well appointed and has an excellent oven and stove. It's a little drive to anywhere but we had a rental car so that was no issue, only 15 mins to Tongariro visitors centre. "

"The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. John was great allowing a super late checkout for us also. The housr was clean and tidy. Perfect property for our stay and family numbers. Would highly recommend this property "

"The house is perfect for extended family looking for a place to stay near the snow mountain. It is well-equipped with basic needs for cooking, washing and entertainment. It has a Very comfortable space and heating during winter, our small kids love running around as well sleeping in the rooms. The owner is very responsive to inquiries and requests. "We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! Also the Freeview box lost signal on our last night, but no biggie, we were all ready for an early night by...

"We loved loved our no.22 Chalet. Everything was clean, modern, warm, well decorated and just super nice to come back to after a day up thr mountains. We enjoyed soaking up in the spas also..was so relaxing. We will definitely be returning next time we come back to Ohakune for our ski trip."

"Was typical camping ground cabin. It was great to be able to book it for one night because that was all I wanted. There were no inconsistencies with how it was advertised and what it was. The manager was very pleasant and helpful."

"Exceptional location, close proximity to supermarket, places to eat and the mount! It surprised us how well the house is stocked and everything is in great condition and plenty of life!The house is toasty warm with the fireplace going! There is plenty of space, and upstairs is great fun for the kids! Having a dog friendly accommodation that has been well looked after is absolutely amazing! Above all - our host was super accommodating when we got stuck on the mountain for longer than anticipated!...
