The owner Danielle was so responsive to any need we had. She left us fresh eggs in a sweet little "coop" on the kitchen counter.. We were able to relax and have family time. "I was in Ohio for a family reunion. The puppy could not stay at the lodge at Salt Fork, so I decided to stay at the cabin. I am easily overwhelmed by people and family is not excluded! Retreating to the cabin allowed me the serenity I needed.My only dislike were the unpaved roads. My car sits very low to the ground and the gravel did a number under my car. "

"Check-in was simple. The home is even nicer in person than in the pictures. Extremely clean. Beautiful location. Beds were very comfortable. Love everything about it. I would definitely go back there again!"

"This house was absolutely amazing! We needed a place to just "escape" from the hustle and bustle and this house did just the trick for us. Our family had more than enough room to spread out and enjoy the scenery. All of the beds were comfortable, the house was very well cleaned. Plenty of towels and blankets, the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook with. Sitting on the patio by the fire and watching the kids in the hot tub, while having the view of the lake in the background...

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway."

"My husband and I chose to stay at Valley View last year in order to be close to Cambridge to attend the Salt Fork Arts & Crafts Festival. It was not a hard decision to stay at Valley View again this year for the festival. This cute, comfy cabin has all we could want, and our hostess was communicative and gracious! We hope to come back a third time!"

Our family enjoyed fishing off the dock, sitting on the porch that overlooked the pond, sitting in the hot tub near the pond, and playing games supplied by the homeowner. They really thought of everything! The owners were very easy to reach through text. We had a small issue the one night with the water, and he fixed it immediately. The wooded area that surrounded the house was beautiful. We saw deer and even a coyote one evening. ...
