"The staff was fantastic! Although our initial room wasn't clean, the manager quickly upgraded us to a better one. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the free tour was amazing! Out of all the places that we traveled to in Costa Rica, this was the only place that we spotted sloths. 10/10 ☆'s would visit again."

"Great property and staff. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing missing is an onsite concession area for when it’s after hours for the bar/kitchen and you want a cold drink or snack. Overall an awesome place and would stay again. "

"The included breakfast is amazing—two courses! The bathrooms/showers are very tight in spacing, but there are bigger bathrooms in the attached restaurant section. Those bathrooms/showers are shared by all in the hostel, including those with private rooms (which was fine, never had to wait to use facilities). There is no A/C, so realize that it can get quite hot in the rooms, especially during the day (it’ll get hotter than outside temp, even with the fan). The host is incredibly friendly. I’d...

"Overall this is a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay, but it was definitely over priced for what it was (I do notice that it came down significantly in price since we booked, so maybe they realised that too!) On check in we were taken to a room that bore no resemblance to what we had booked and what was shown in the pictures and was definitely not worth £250 per night. "Hotel pequeño pero muy bonito. Era como estar en el parque Nacional. Por la tarde noche nos visitaron los monos del parque. El parque esta al lado, muy bien situado."

"Amazing property with attention to every detail. Loved having our own concierge to help with questions. Service to the beach was helpful and appreciated. Loved the restaurant by the pool and especially the pool. The sloth tour was incredible that is why we stayed at Tulemar. Loved all the monkeys as well. Stay minimum 3 days to see wildlife and enjoy the beach. We were warned that our room was by the street and was noisy. But it was very noisy with motorcycles. But they stopped around 10:30....

"The view from our room was amazing, could not be beat. Bed was comfortable, bathroom had everything we needed. Pools were nice but could have been a touch warmer for our liking. Dinner, drinks and breakfast all very good but above all staff and service was exceptional. We look forward to staying there again."
