"This is the best hotel choice in Leavenworth! Clean, cool, pet friendly, good price, comfortable room and space, nice employees. The bathroom was beauitful, the bed and kitchen comfy and usable, the available coffee very handy. If you must stay at a hotel with the "free" breakfast (for almost twice the price), go for it. But for us The Leavenworth Local is the only place to stay! "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the mansion! It was like a castle to my granddaughters! It was nicely decorated and had beautiful antique furniture and items throughout the house. It was all updated with air conditioning, washer and dryer, full kitchen equipment, pots and pans, dishes, glassware beautiful serving dishes! I even saw a crockpot and roaster in the cabinets. There was both a Keurig and a regular coffee maker. The owner and caretaker were both very friendly and accommodating. I...

"The condo is spacious and comfortable. We only stayed one night so we didn't use the kitchen which looked to be well equipped.We selected it because we thought is was truly a first floor unit with an at-grade entrance. What they don't tell you is that it is the lowest unit, but it requires you to carry your belongings up and down seven steps. "

"We had a wonderful stay for our family reunion! The home was a great place to gather—plenty of space, and the rooms were fresh, clean, and inviting. The kids were so happy with the pool and hot tub! Shaymond was an outstanding host—very communicative and helpful. He even stopped by personally to assist with the backyard lights, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this property for families or groups looking for a comfortable and well-cared-for home base!"

"Interesting older home and neighborhood to explore. Close to many attractions. Very dog friendly with small fenced yard. Host was very helpful and quick to respond. Enjoyed our stay. We will book again when we return to KC"

"Beautiful historic home within walking distance for breakfast! Home is just as described, very clean and very comfortable. Host was very responsive and goes out of her way to make your stay great! Hope to return next time we visit KC. Eileen, Marvin, Bri and Jordan"

"This was close to all the downtown activities we were in KC for. Close to Crown Center, Union Station, WWI. Right by Hospital hill. Beds were good. House is as described in listing. Old house with creaky floors, one bathroom in the middle of the 4 main bedrooms. Attic floating bed and jacuzzi were up a strange set of stairs- we did not stay up there. But house was adequate with full kitchen and living areas."

"We stayed with this host before when we came up to kc about a year ago for a trip to childrens mercy. we had another one today so we decided to book with them again and stayed in their other apartment to check it out since they were attached. Apartment was just as beautifu and as comfortable as the 1st one. Only thing we can complain about is the faint smell of pot from possibly the people who might of stayed there before us. Still give it 5 stars!! Becuase it was homie and very afordable"
