The hotel is close to downtown tamarindo which is a plus if you’re looking for some peace and relaxation away from the busy downtown. "My stay here was short but sweet. The beach was less than 10 min walking and the hotel is located right in between several food spots and the grocery store. The breakfast is really good everything tasted fresh, staff was super helpful shoutout to Tatiana, Juan Carlos and Henry . Will definitely be back soon!"

"I had such an amazing experience here. patrick was so helpful- he set me up with a ride from the airport to the hotel (which was 5 hours away) and for a great price. they had the cutest Pomeranian named wyatt that I absolutely adored, sandra booked all my excursions which I had a BLAST at each of these. they had a pool that I took full advantage of, the room was cozy. the shower was great. "Extremely well located. This is a budget hotel, simple, clean and self checking. The AC worked and the shower water was hot. You will receive the check in information on your cellphone the day off. If you are not used to Tamarindo, the hotel is right next to a mini mall smack in the center of town and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Everything was functional the only thing is that the breakfast/coffee if there was one, starts at 8AM. A bit late. There is some street noise but nothing major...

"De la Playa was amazing. We had security at night to make us feel safe. We had access to its sister hotel right next door, the Tamarindo Diara. Both hotels were right on the beach with beautiful ocean views. Highly recommend this property, staff was amazing, you will not be disappointed, will be back soon"
