A Picture-Perfect Mountain Home with Gorgeous Views

When you first set eyes on this striking property, you'll notice that the exterior of this home was designed to be reminiscent of a ski chalet, with a wide upper deck and overhanging roof beautifully finished in a rustic shade of red. Craft your meals in the fully equipped kitchen with wonderland-like views of the snow-covered mountains in the distance, and the vibrant foliage in the off-season.

If the weather is terrific, take advantage of the gas grill and barbecue out on the upper deck, or on chillier nights, snuggle up in the comfortable living area around the natural stone fireplace—and don't worry about picking up firewood, because it's provided for you! There's also a flat-screen television if you want to take in a movie in the evening, and a washer and dryer conveniently located in the home.

Ideal for larger groups, the three bedrooms have ample and comfortable sleeping space to accommodate parties of many sizes. Two of the bedrooms each have two sets of full bunk beds, totaling four beds per room, and the master has one set of full bunk beds—tons of spots for everyone! Arguably one of the top highlights of this rental, there is also a private indoor hot tub that fits four to six people. With rich, wood-paneled walls and gleaming tiles, you'll feel like you're in the lap of luxury when you take a soak after a long day of exploring the mountains. Additionally, you can venture to the game room downstairs, which is a great spot to watch some television (no cable) or play a friendly game of bumper pool.

With quick access to a state highway, Killington is only a short drive away, where you can dine in local restaurants and breweries, peek into boutique shops, and of course, hit the slopes! The property is also in the nearby vicinity of golf courses, Green Mountain hiking trails, the White River, and for those who are adventurous, rock climbing in Deer Leap. You'll also find cross-country skiing and snowmobile trails that you can reach in a flash!

weekend getaway

We had a lovely stay. Property management was extremely responsive to questions, promptly answering text requests on the weekends and at late hours. The kitchen and linens were fully stocked. 20 minutes to Killington. Definitely would recommend for a ski trip or weekend getaway.

The crew helping out was awesome. Management was great. Just for the price and the number of things that were rough just kinda... fell flat. I don't wanna bash anyone and I know it's in the woods. Just could use a little more of a going through. And updated hotub info. It's really like a 3 person hot tub when it's full. And even then it had too much water...

Not as expected

The pictures must have been taken years ago. The house has not been cared for, on any level, and was filthy. Everything needs to be updated. There was a basket of dirty laundry with a broken chair perched on top of it. An inch of dirt and dust, including a dirty sock, under the sofa. We did not stay. Carol at the management company was very responsive and helpful.

Loved it!

This house was perfect for a large group of snowboarders. Great locations and great views. There was so much wood for the fire which was a nice added bonus. Had everything we needed!

Amazing

The view off the deck of this house is amazing. You’re not far from all the hot spots in Killington that offer a variety of activities. Our host provided us with everything that we need with towels and blankets and firewood. Just one of the best experiences my friends and I have had. Look forward to doing it again!!

Perfect House for President's Weekend

The house was perfect for the amount of people we had staying there. The resort community is nice and it is not a far drive at all to Killington. The Hot Tub was perfect and the grounds are beautiful as the community is set back off the main road. The house easily sleeps as advertised with the amount of bunk beds.

Wonderful House, Great Management

The Sweet Life house was perfect for attending a summertime wedding at Riverside Farm, less than half a mile walk down the gravel road from the house. The large bunk beds in each room provided ample sleeping space for the six of us, the kitchen had what we needed, and the hot tub was a great place to wind down the night after the wedding. The management company was also very responsive when we couldn't get the hot tub to warm up, and had it working for us the same day we reached out to them. I highly recommend this house for a stay in the Killington/Pittsfield area, and will definitely be looking into other properties managed by the company for our future travels.
