"Receptionist when we arrived was not particularly helpful but the other staff were friendly and helpful. The room was mostly good but considering it was supposed to be for 4 people there was no table or chairs. We had to use outdoor chairs to sit on inside."

"A fantastic home with lots of room for the whole family. Beautiful views, quiet neighbourhood and very peaceful. It’s an older unique home that has been lovingly crafted and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. A real treasure. Absolutely would book again."

"This is a beautiful, quaint property. It was our second stay here. We could see the galaxy and do stargazing. This is a perfect property for a family, with all the basic facilities, and it's well-maintained and clean. "

"Property was spot on for our weeks getaway. In a complex of similar properties and only a few minutes walk from the Cardrona Hotel. Property was lovely and clean, nice and warm and just right for the two of us. The only thing to watch for is how thin the walls are but we were out exploring every day and sleep with ear plugs in anyway so it was no great travesty!Highly recommended and will hopefully get the chance to revisit."

"This place is even better and bigger than the photos! Super comfy sofas and beds, massive kitchen, 8 seater dining table, lovely outdoor social area too with a big log burner, heaps of firewood too, massive speaker in the house, heaps of crockery/glassware. The house was very clean on arrival and had lots of amenities already there ie toilet roll, dishwasher tabs. Great communication with host too who let us have a late check out which we very much appreciated. "

"From the moment we drove down the drive, opening the gate to find the most gorgeous French cottage filled with such charm and personal touches we were so comfortable and felt right at home. We enjoyed the outdoor bath and the outdoor fire many times. We loved our cuddles with Billy who visited several times a day. "The Woolshed is a wonderful escape for a group of people who like their privacy and like to be surrounded by natural beauty and quietness. The property was clean and the fire wood was already prepared in the fire place which we absolutely cherished. It has a lot of space in the lounge and kitchen and the bedrooms are separate from the living area through a door. "Great apartment, had everything we needed for our ski vacation. It was clean. You can use a hot pool, which was great for the kids. Short drive up to Cardrona skifield, 2 Minutes walk to Cardrona Hotel for dinner or to the small store for coffee and snacks. Heating in every room was working well and large laundry space to hang up gear. Would book again for ski trip. "

"My stay at Burn Cottage far exceeded my expectations. The location is so close to Cromwell yet rural, very peaceful and private in the most beautiful surroundings. Gill went above and beyond, it is clear every detail is thought of and the house keeping was just immaculate. I could live here! I travel to Cromwell quite often and this will definitely be my home away from home."

"Suited our needs for the time of year. Stayed as a group of 4 adults and 3 (younger) children. The property was well kept and a reasonable price for our stay. The outdoor area was a great asset in the summer. Would not have wanted to be any larger a group. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cardrona. Being a family of 7 looking to explore the Wanaka / Queenstown / Cromwell area this location suited us well. The house is very tastefully decorated and well equipped, there wasn't anything we didnt have. The beds & linen were very comfortable. Overall, it was outstanding! We would definitely stay again."
