We came for my son’s college graduation, and the woman immediately upgraded our room. She also gave us vouchers for the restaurant, which we ended up using. The bartender was nice too. "They charged me an extra $100 to check in early starting 10:00am but they barely had the room available for me at 11:00am, so they overcharged me. The check-in had a security glass screen, giving the feeling of a bank counter or jail visit area. Plus there was construction going on right in the lobby, which was a big inconvenience. "This hotel is very old and not well maintained. It is being kept clean inside but the furnishings and bathroom was very old. Also the outside maintenance is terrible: cracked sidewalks and parking areas not well paved. Fencing falling down. Also if you must stay here, request a room on the backside of the building because the highway traffic noise in the front is so loud it was almost impossible to fall asleep. On a positive note, the staff is very nice."
