"I booked a bedroom with common bathroom for two people by Expedia, and it was really amazing. When we arrived the owner give us the possibility to change the bedroom to another with private bathroom without paying extra. The staff was really kind and come every day to clean the room. There's a kitchen in common where we can drink a tea or coffee for free. There is also a roof terrace where you can enjoy in relax with a sea view, drink, eat and smoke a cigarette. "Great hotel. Very friendly staff, excellent choice of breakfast options (including the prosecco bucket). Outside pool area great for relaxing and swimming. Only slight niggle for us was having to pay to access the sauna and steam room although given how hot it was not sure we have actually used it. "

"Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and helpful in recommending places to go in Olhao. Relaxing pool area. Location was good, just a short walk from the town and marina. We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as we felt that local cafes had more atmosphere. We really enjoyed Olhao and would choose the Cidade again. "

"Very nice hostel with good facilities and outdoor space. The shower did leak onto the floor and it was a bit silly to ask for €20 cash as a deposit to use the iron and hairdryer (I have never had to hand over a deposit for these) as I was on my way home the next day and didn’t want to get it out in cash. I managed to convince the receptionist to give both to me without a deposit in the end! Overall really comfortable stay. "

"A last minute, 1 night booking before we flew home found us here. The apartment was spacious for 4 of us, the bathroom is tiny but we had everything we needed. Very clean and in a very good location."
