"We loved the restoration of the old existing structure alongside the stunning extension to the rear. From entering the hotel there is a true welcoming check in. The decor is exquisite and provides a serene ambience. Staff are very helpful and respectful to all our requests. The gardens and the pot plants throughout the exterior of the hotel are calming to the mind. "Very comfortable hotel. Excellent breakfast, including cooked if you want it, from 7.30am. Coffee machine and small fridge (mini-bar) in room - no kettle or tea but that seems normal for Portugal. Pool looks good but we didn't use it. "

"The property was lovely. Soon as get through the gates you are greeted by a path with a beautiful arch, surrounded by nature. As you go towards the accommodation you see gorgeous lemons and oranges bearing fruit. Me and my partner was lucky enough to try there freshly squeezed juice at breakfast, smooth and delicious. Breakfast had good variety, vegan and vegetarian options. 9/10"

Pool access is through the gym though which is rather strange, or via reception on the floor above. The indoor pool is very small, short and narrow, ok to lounge about in, but you can't really swim.
