"Everything was good but felt little discomfort with the carpet and beds in the room. Carpets felt so dusty and bare foot walking felt uncomfortable due to dust sticking to legs and beds were little uncomfortable that my kid complained that he could not sleep.
Otherwise, entire property was maintained clean and staff were supportive."

"Loved the location and the views of the American falls were phenomenal. Check in was easy and the check in agent was very helpful.
The hotel could do better with general cleanliness. Hallways were littered. We found a bunch of long hair in the toilet when we first entered the room after check in (not a great look when you're just checking into your room for the first time). Some finishes need updated. Also, the air conditioniner was so loud it disrupted our sleep each time it went on...

Morning coffee in the lobby was great for early risers, but tea would be be great also. Staff did accommodate when asked.
Breakfast was perfect and the young man that served us was very professional and attentive.
Very nice stay and would highly recommend."

"The Oakes hotel has a wonderful location and view of the falls. However, the property itself is pretty bare bones. The rooms are quite dated and show significant wear and tear. The housekeeping staff was seriously short staffed, so the rooms were not ready at the check-in time of 4 pm. The hotel also was suffering some damage from water, so they had to rebook a bunch of people to another local hotel.
The rooms have a fridge, but no coffee maker. They do offer coffee and hot water in the lobby...

"Our stay was excellent. Check in and out were smooth. I was not thrilled about the $50(Canadian)/night parking, but what can you say. We had a Fallsview room on the 3rd floor with a shared walkout balcony which was close enough to get spray from the falls. It was a simply spectacular view. I do wish there were a few more outlets to charge items, but there were enough. The hotel is at the beginning of the strip and was very close to the most locations to visit. I would recommend."

"This was our 1st time at this hotelin Canada. The rooms are way up in this tower so they are small but we wanted one with the full view of the falls it didn't disappoint, they have 3 of these rooms. You go up a elevator to get to your rooms and the hallways are narrow and you are actually going Around inside the tower to get to your rooms but we had a spectacular view! It did not disappoint. If you are wanting your vehicle close by its not but it is in a closed lot and they have a shuttle...
