"It's a very cute property. Unfortunately we had some problems during our stay. I couldn't locate a code to access the property - Amber responded quickly with a code to get us in. Not sure if I got it already and misplaced it but it was no big deal since she responded almost immediately. Once we gained entry we quickly became aware that the smoke alarm had an issue as the one in the bedroom with the bunk beds chirped every few minutes. There was also an unpleasant odor in the house, I messaged...

"This home and property were so lovely! Right off the highway but a beautiful farm setting. My only issue was poor communication from host- I had to contact Vrbo to get a response. I would suggest they also provide just a few more staples such as salt, foil and kitchen towels. And a fly swatter."

"Clean room, amply supplied, nice and quiet, safe. Host responded quickly when we got lost due to GPS confusion. If I may make a constructive suggestion, please add knobs or pulls to the cabinet draws and cabinets. I have arthritic hands and had to use a plastic knife to open them. May not apply to everyone but it sure would help old people like me. Thank you for your excellent hosting."

"The listing and photos made this appear to be a studio apartment, and I understood Motel 6 would simply be handling the check-in and key service. In reality, the lodging was a room in a 50+ year-old Motel 6 property that appeared to be well into decline. It was the worst lodging we experienced during our three-week trip.
The air-conditioner drain ran into the room, leaving water on the floor next to the bed. The door also fit very loosely, allowing humid outside air into the room. The bathtub...
