Perfect getaway

Comfortable and clean property with all the amenities listed and a very welcoming host. Would absolutely stay again. Fantastically close to the beach.

My stay at Pelican's Rest was fantastic, close to the beach and about a 10min drive to shops. Hosts were great, I really love all the nice little touches that make the room feel homely and cozy. I would defintely stay again.

Pelican's Rest a "Cosy Nest".

Perfect base for our Birding Trip! Characterful wooden interior studio space, in a quiet location. Ideal as we could come and go easily for those dawn photo opportunities. We also enjoyed the private outdoor seating area with plenty of shade.

Thoughtfully and generously presented

Relaxing and low key. Good range of carefully put together facilities. One suggestion would be to consider upping the double bed to a queen. A good stay.

Staying at Pelican's Rest

Very pleasant place to stay. Quiet, peaceful & very private. Easy access to Rockingham City & beaches. Definitely something different regarding accommodation as the room was furnished with very attractive Jarrah wood & a lot of thought has gone into the layout. Peter, the owner, is very nice & accommodating. We will be back!

Peace and Quiet Near the Ocean

A beautiful place to stay. Peaceful and restful. Away from noise. Very comfortable. Short stroll to the nearby beach. Local neighbourhood people are warm and friendly. I could definitely go back for another visit. Most enjoyable.

Pleasant & Relaxing

I stayed here for 11 nights. My gf joined me for 7 nights. We both are very happy with our accommodation. It is a lovely outskirt neighbourhood. The beach is a plus to the stay. Peter is an amazing host responsive and very helpful. A big thank you to our host! God bless you and yours.

Weekend Retreat

Comfortable accommodation and bed. The side door to the verandah, added extra ventilation to reduce the heat buildup in late afternoon. A fold down, one legged table from the jarrah cabinet would be extremely advantageous when making hot drinks/breakfast, as there is little to no room, between the electric appliances.

Little piece of cozy

Simply… photos don’t do it justice. This place was such a godsend at the end of a busy day, so comfortable and private. The little things make all the difference. Like the welcoming decanter of Port, the chockies and the selections from coffee to Milk. I highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a little piece and quiet. With shopping center down the road and public transport not too far. Well done Pelicans rest, I’ll be back

The bed and bathroom were outstanding. However, we were there for 10 days and we found the kitchen facilities lacking for that period of time. There were no cooking facilities apart from a toaster and microwave and no washing up facilities. We also found the fact that the fridge was directly next to the toilet a bit disconcerting. The room was very spacious and could accommodate a kitchenette.

Such comfortable, homely accommodation. Our hosts have thought of everything for their guests' comfort. Can't believe they even provided spare batteries for the remote, sticky tape (you never know!), a torch, Aeroguard, extra gas bottles for the BBQ and so much more. Highly recommended as a better alternative to a soulless hotel room. Well done Peter and Hilde.
