The house is conveniently situated on the lakeward side of the A592. For amenities, the market town of Penrith boasts a choice of supermarkets and independent shops and eateries together with a ruined castle and 18th century church. Other nearby attractions include the city of Carlisle and the historic house of Dalemain.
