"We really enjoyed our stay at “ the palace” Wonderful location in old town. Fantastic room! Super clean, comfy bed. Fully equipped kitchen with clothes washer and dishwasher. If only the weather had been better we would have totally enjoyed the garden we could access right from the room. The included breakfast was in a cosy little room with a family like atmosphere. Highly recommend."

"We had high hopes when we booked this accommodation and we were certainly not disappointed. The location of this property is genuinely breathtaking as it provides perfect views of the Douro and of the neighbouring Vila Nova de Gaia. "Because our originally booked room was under renovation, the hotel moved us to two rooms on the same floor. There were five of us, so this actually gave us much more space and was very comfortable for our stay. The rooms were very clean and new, and the hotel staff were extremely friendly. Each room was also gifted a small bottle of Porto wine, which was a lovely touch. After we checked out, the hotel kindly stored our luggage for us as well. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel!"

Well positioned, lovely staff cared for the apartments and also the staff at the 7g Roaster cafe where breakfast was served each morning, bring plentiful and tasty. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean, had everything that was required for our stay, contemporary and modern.
