"Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies."

"This was a great place to stay as we hiked the traphills on the north country trail! The large entry room was a great location for all of our hiking gear. Having the bar next door for a quick drink or food helped after a long hiking day too. "

"Spacious and private, clean and comfortable. The lake is beautiful for swimming, boating, and fishing. Easy access to lots of hiking trails and other nearby attractions, great home base for anything you want to do in the western UP. Great communication from the owner with check in/ out instructions and comprehensive guide to the area that was sent ahead of time. We were there just as a family of 4 but there was plenty of space for larger groups "

"We had a wonderful time with extended family at this cabin. The beach was perfect for the little ones and the extended property was an awesome place for them to explore the outdoors. The kitchen/dining areas worked great for large group meals both inside and out. The only thing that wasn't clear from the listing is that some of the bedrooms required going through another bedroom to get back to the main living area."

"Neat, clean, just as described. The boat lift was a great amenity. Plenty of room inside for our 6 adults and three kids. Lots of room for our 3-4 vehicles and 2 boat trailers to park. Hosts were easily reachable. Lots of other fishing opportunities within a 30 minute drive. "

"This is an older property that's well kept up. The main bathroom is large and very nice - great if you have a group of women getting ready at the same time! We didn't go downstairs at all so cannot speak for those amenities but the rest of the house was comfortable. We needed 3 bedrooms so this worked out great for us. "
