"Tucked away in the woods out in the country, the photos don’t do it justice! The decor is Bohemian meets Appalachia with a touch of Whimsy - so much fun! Host was responsive to my questions. Fresh eggs in the fridge, which was delightful - except I’d brought some from my own flock! WiFi was great, plenty of hot water for 6 of us. Host’s friendly dog and cat stopped by during our visit - the painting in the kitchen come to life! Literally felt like I was staying at a friend’s house. "

"The house is perfect for a small group coming to town for a football game or just to visit the area. It’s conveniently located right off 81 and only a few min from Blacksburg. The host was great, accommodating and easy to reach. I recommend this property and would stay here again. "

"This was the perfect house for our family for our daughter’s VT graduation! First and foremost, it was extremely clean and tidy. The owner left snacks, paper products and travel-sized toiletries for our use. The kitchen was well-stocked with all essential supplies, and the basement/game room was a hit. We would 100% stay here again; it is a beautiful house! "

"Wonderful VRBO that is perfect for families! Comfortable beds, very clean and well-being appointed in every way! Very nice location in a rural area, but also close to downtown Blacksburg. We really enjoyed seeing the horses & new foal acoss the street! "

"We were traveling into the area to attend the Virginia Tech commencement ceremonies. This was a fantastic find. Close enough to attend the events, but far enough to avoid the congestion in Blacksburg during this busy time of the year. When our usual dog sitter was unavailable, this allowed us to bring them along with us and they settled right in as well. We loved everything about the location and would highly recommend it to anyone considering traveling to the area. "

"Property was exactly as described, online photos where accurate, kitchen(s) were ideal for prepping meals for our family and friends, and living room/common spaces were ample in size for everyone (16 house guests), plus 25 college students that came to eat, socialize during the day, and play the multiple outdoor game equipment we rented from our graduate’s school. "

"Very clean. We appreciated the snacks, tea, bottled water, and the hygiene items in the bathroom. Some expense has gone into very nice pillows, mattress, and bath towels. I suggest a floor mat on the inside of the front door, a mattress pad, kitchen hand towel and dishcloth, dish rack for drying dishes, and a large kitchen trash can."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is very clean and seemed to be a fairly new condo. It had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The owner answered any question that I had in a timely manner and was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again."

"Great, thorough communication from Sean. Rental was very comfortable and as advertised. Spent more time downtown in blacksburg than at the house, but the time we spent there was great!"

"25 minutes from Blacksburg has everything you need for a great weekend get away for a football game, hiking and sightseeing! Mountain top views that allow you to see the Milky Way on a clear night with no noise from neighbors. This is a brand new, completely renovated property, very clean and the owner is extremely friendly and very easy to communicate with! "

"We arrived later in the evening than we had hoped. It was dark so we could not fully appreciate the beauty around us until morning. The camper was cozy and immaculate: Everything we could possibly need. Temps had dipped and they had it nice and warm for us. This was our first time EVER staying in a camper. Pleasantly impressed. We will definitely stay here again. "

"My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely."
