"Larry was a wonderful attentive host. Quick clear communication. Wonderful place to bring your fur family members. Nice trails for them to burn off some pent up travel energy. Great hiking nearby and plenty of small town charm in the area as well to explore. Or just be intown for a college visit or two…. ;)"

"If you want to escape the stress and hustle of city life or looking for a romantic getaway just as we did this place is perfect. The location is beautiful, you have warm cozy log cabins with a view of the forest valley, a hot tub, a fire pit and every essential element you would want. Place was clean, organised and the host was great and responsive, directly answered our questions and concerns. I would definitely visit again next time in winter season though."

"We really loved the house. The river is super close and we really enjoyed swimming. Kids were obsessed with the loft. The house was stocked with a great variety of things. House was very clean had everything we needed. We plan on returning "

"Nicest private home we have ever stayed in. Tastefully restored elegant Victorian home with all modern amenities. Historical connection to the region helps make it even more special. Private large garden and patio area is lovely. We only used three of the six bedrooms most which have very comfortable king sized beds. Great place for larger groups to stay and relax."

"Absolutely beautiful. 10/10 would recommend. We had the best experience inside and out. Peter has a great host both attentive and accommodating. This was glamping, you get the serenity of nature combined with top tier amenities. The mattress was very comfortable and everything you need is there to complete your stay. This is a must see!"

"The place was beautiful, clean and peaceful. My only suggestions would be to upgrade at least one bed to a queen for larger people. My stepdad is 6' "3" and had a bit of a hard time fitting in the bed. And some larger furniture in the sitting room. It really was a great place though and I will recommend it and may stay again myself if we go back to the area."

"Booked for just me to unwind and do some creative work. Perfect for that, or a couple/small family to get away. Clean, quiet, and all the comforts of home."

"The pool was the best. That was the mainstay area for us. Only thing is the ladders for the pool need the 3rd steps. It was very hard for a couple of us to get out without the extra step. So we couldn't enjoy the pool as much as we wanted."

"My wife and I had an amazing weekend anniversary trip at this cottage. No-nonsense, fenced rear dog yard, cool AC, clean sheets, abundant blankets and towels, great water pressure, great location near lots of hiking and a short trip to Franklin/Oil City/Slippery Rock, and a very warm welcome from an amazing host. What more could you ask for? We would happily stay again!"
