"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The River Place. It fit our extended family's needs for space and amenities. Access to the river was definitely a plus as our young children spent a lot of time enjoying fishing, swimming, rock collecting and just enjoying our time together. The house was well equipped and a surprising find. Highly recommend! "

"Theresa was very accommodating giving me her main floor as lower level overbooked. I had use of the complete house with full amenities including deck and fenced yard. The house was very clean and well stocked.Highly recommend!!"

"We stayed here for a bachelorette party and to go on a float trip. The property was nice, clean, and as described. There’s plenty space and bathrooms! It is helpful to know there is no cell phone signal or WiFi in this area. The fridge is not the best so I would recommend bringing plenty of ice and coolers. Overall it was an excellent stay! Thank you for the hospitality"

"My extended family and I stayed at this location and hit the Onondaga caves and floats- the property is nice for a large party. Firewood was pre cut, property was overall well maintained, and tree lines shield from main road nicely."

"This was one of our top VRBO stays! We had a wonderful long weekend with friends. The house is a short walk to the river (pretty easy) with nice beach and river access. The house had anything and everything you could possibly need - and if you can’t find something, there’s list of it all and where to find it! You can tell the love the owners put into this property. We’ll definitely be back! Lovely stay!!! "

"Was looking for a place where our family could stay together and be comfortable for our youngest daugter's wedding. Boy, did we find it. It was a beautiful lodge and they made us feel so welcome. Lots of room and the views were amazing. Even got to get a close up view of the moon through the telescope. It was clean and well stocked. Peter even provided us with fresh eggs which the family loved. Would definitely stay again if we get the opportunity. "

"We had such a wonderful four days at the cabin. Our neighborhood goes crazy on the Fourth of July. This was a great escape for us - some fireworks nearby but much more manageable for us. It’s off a gravel drive with very friendly neighbors. Our pups all loved to run the land and hang out on the wraparound porch. The property is as described and was perfect for our small group. My husband and I took our dogs on a great hike to Hughes Mountain in nearby Leadville. We would stay here again. "
