"We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at the Hotel Providence and will definitely be back! The location is ideal, with great restaurants in both directions, and perfect for walking to the beautiful riverfront. Our standard room was spacious, tasteful and spotless, with an extremely comfortable bed and quiet heating/cooling system. The staff is wonderful—a big shout out to Sebastian at the front desk whose professional and warm hospitality was truly the icing on the cake!"

"It’s a great bargain to stay here. It’s like a big house—it was a firehouse! Big kitchen, two big shared bathrooms (one is toilets/urinals and the other is two sinks and four shower stalls with doors, soap provided). Quiet place but it’s very close to businesses. Quirky history and friendly, helpful staff. After booking, a deposit paid by credit card online and identification card emailed to the host, are both required before check in key code is provided. "We were on the road for nearly two weeks and this was the nicest place we stayed. Another guest hit a button they thought would shutdown the fire pit on the patio, but it activated the fire alarm for the building. It woke us up and we had to evacuate. The fire department responded and cleared the code so we could return in a reasonable time. The room was great as was the breakfast. I highly recommend this facility."

"This is the type of place you book and when you get there you ask “this is it?”. The place looks like a motel. Not the Inn look they try to falsely advertise. The place is about as old as it is dusty. We got a smoking room and the smell was so unbearable we had to switch to another room. I’m not sure how a motel like this is not required to take more pictures of how the rooms look from outside. You would have thought you are staying at the main building just to realize as I stated it’s a total...
