"This place was a perfect place to stay on my trip to. A few miles from Cloudcroft, but a quick drive up the mountain to the heart of the town with the added bonus of being close to the High Rolls hiking trails. When I had trouble with the entry code, the owner showed up in seconds to help me in. I didn't think the photos quite did the place justice - there were three beds and lots of comfy seating. "I loved the forest access. It was a huge bonus for me. I also loved how close it was to all the other hiking areas and cloudcroft/Alamagordo. Another bonus is hpw dark it gets at night and how little light pollution there is whoch allows to see stars. Even better, the forest was accessible at night which gave way to all kinds of great opportunities for astrophotography. Excellent place.
