"This property was very unique and a great place to stay, especially after visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set earlier in the day. The rooms did smell a little like “Middle Earth” when we arrived, but the fans were running and the owners were obviously trying to deal with the problem which was much appreciated. Opening the windows and leaving them open helped as well. It was spacious and well able to accomodate 5 adults. The water was lovely to shower in and great for drinking. The location was just...

"Jan and Bill's place was perfect for us as a long-term tenant. The studio was cozy and kept us warm during the winter, with peaceful views of the surrounding hills and farms to keep us occupied. The studio has everything you might need for cooking, and the bed was very comfortable as well. We highly recommend this location for both short-term and long-term stays. Jan and Bill's hospitality made us feel right at home from day one."

"We had such a great stay at this house! It was super spacious and had a welcoming feel. There were plenty of games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained, which was a nice bonus. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and made us feel right at home. Kate was great with communication - clear instructions and quick to respond if we had any questions. Would definitely recommend and stay again!"

"Thanks for an awesome long weekend - we explored a little bit of Cambridge & discovered how cool it was. The local shops, Saturday market & bike hires were all really easy. There’s a great Lake walk minutes away & amazing local Italian for dinner. Thanks for making it easy to enjoy. The fresh flowers in the rooms were a lovely, welcoming touch."

"A fantastic stay, we booked for two nights but loved it that much we asked to stay another night, it was almost two! Perfect for a couple of friends, two rooms, comfy beds and plenty of towels. The Spa amazing! There is limited wifi signal an old TV and a selection of DVD's and some games, so not for you if can't unplug. We found it warm, cosy and would highly recommend, plus Sue was great to deal with. A perfect spot. "
