"The Sela V is brand new; just a month old. The staff was very attentive, the lobby, bar and coffee shop are first-rate. A very cool vibe. Downside: the lighting set-up in the bathrooms is dim. Not good for getting dressed or taking a shower. And although there was plenty of space in the room, they could use either a love seat or a comfortable chair and table."

"The best thing about staying at The Penny is the rooftop restaurant that has one of the most beautiful views of NYC! Staff were great and overall the experience was a good one. My needs were met over my 2 day stay. I'm not a fan of the 'industrial style' concrete ceiling etc with its irregular 'look'. Coming from Florida I was at first concerned that the dark splotches were mold. The cleanliness was good; bedding clean but not comfortable. Felt like maybe a futton mattress. I found sleeping...

"Proximity to metro was a bonus, as was baggage storage on day of departure. Staff very helpful. Room was large. Extremely comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again."

"Very clean and spacious. I was in a town for a concert at Barclays and I felt safe walking from the stadium back to the home. There are several shops, markets, and restaurants within walking distance. The host and her family were very warm and welcoming and even accommodated my early check-in, as my flight got into NY super early. Would definitely stay here the next time I'm in Brooklyn."

"Safe stay in this part of Brooklyn, with train (J) station within the same block. Rooms are decent for a short stay. They are clean and simple but nothing fancy. They have a few places in the same block for a quick food grab and deli's open till late night."

"I absolutely love 101 HOTEL Manhattan New York City! The location on Bowery is unbeatable—right at the crossroads of Little Italy, SoHo, and Chinatown. Check-in was incredibly fast, and the staff were genuinely nice and helpful. Those brand-new memory foam beds are insanely comfortable, the AC blows ice cold, and the gig Wi-Fi is super fast. For the price and the prime location, you cannot beat this place. I will definitely be staying here every time I visit NYC!"
